At the Wako Public Health Center, the following programs are given to Wako residents to support healthy life.

For Babies and Children

1. Vaccination <BCG, Polio, DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis and Tetanus combination) ,DT (Diphtheria and Tetanus combination) ,MR (Measles and Rubella Combination) , Japanese encephalitis >
2. Health checkups for babies and infants (4 months of age, 10 months of age,1 year and 6 months of age, 2 years of age, 3 years of age)
3. Consultations for families with children, various classes held by the Wako Public Health Center, visiting nursing service at parents’ home for families with newborn

* We have English questionnaires for health checkups for babies and infants and immunization provided at the Wako Public Health Center. The Asaka Public Health Center

The following programs are given by the Asaka Public Health Center.

1. Health consultation (general matters, mental problem, alcoholic dependence, TB, AIDS, etc.) is free of charge.
2. Stool assay is subject to fees.
3. Water examination is subject to fees.
4. Subsidies for medical expenses (for premature babies, incurable disease, TB, etc.)
